Lately, life has felt like a juggling act—work, self-care, friendships, chasing personal goals—and I don’t even have kids. Just keeping my plants alive sometimes feels like a small miracle. And that realization has given me a whole new level of respect for moms who somehow manage it all. Seriously, how do they do it?
The more I think about it, the more I’m in awe of the women who balance demanding careers with raising little humans. It’s like they have superpowers. One moment, they’re leading meetings and negotiating deals; the next, they’re packing lunches, helping with homework, and being a comforting presence at bedtime. If keeping up with life feels overwhelming for me, I can only imagine what it takes to do all that—and do it well.
And this admiration isn’t just for the moms who hold leadership positions at work. I’m equally in awe of the mothers who work tirelessly in any job, whether it’s in an office, a store, a hospital, or from home. These women contribute to their households and society while nurturing their children with love and patience. It’s incredible how they find the strength to show up every day, despite the exhaustion and the never-ending to-do lists.
And then there are the single moms—the true superheroes who often carry the full weight of parenting on their shoulders. They juggle work, home, finances, and everything in between without a partner to share the load. How do they do it? Where do they find the resilience to keep going when the days are long and the responsibilities feel endless?
I think about the moms who work night shifts, the ones who sacrifice sleep to ensure their kids have a better future. The mothers who start businesses from their kitchens while managing household chaos. The women who may not have glamorous job titles but work just as hard to provide for their families.
Honestly, it’s humbling. And it makes me want to complain a little less about my own busy schedule.
So here’s my question to all the moms out there: How do you do it? What keeps you going on the hard days? What routines, mindset shifts, or little tricks help you stay on top of it all?
